Spring 2014 Story Time
The six-week session of Story Time for Pre-K children, ages 3-5, begins April 3/4 and ends May 8/9.
We’re looking forward to having lots of fun with the theme Down-on-the-Farm
Please register here for either Thursday Evenings beginning at 6:30 OR Friday Mornings beginning at 10:30.
Registration deadline is Monday, March 31st
Parent/Guardian must remain in the library during Story Time.
Job opening: Library Assistant I
Hudson Area Public Library seeks a part-time library assistant, 7-12 hours per week. Duties include charging & discharging materials, working with patrons, assisting with processing & cataloging materials, deselecting materials as needed, preparing displays & exhibits, shelving, and other duties as assigned by the Library Director. The library assistant will be in charge of sorting book donations and required to help out one evening a week with Interlibrary loans, as well as learn other cross-training as needed.
Strong customer service skills mandatory. Required to learn library circulation system.
Circulation Assistant may work alone & open / close the library with another staff member.
Must be available at least one evening a week and on Saturdays.

Ladies Night Out is a chance for you to enjoy delicious food, make a fun craft, and to learn something new. All spots are now filled.

Teens and their moms hang out, talk about books, and eat snacks! The next meeting will be Tuesday, March 25th at 7:00 PM. We’ll be discussing Between Shades of Gray by Ruta Sepetys. Bring your opinions, your appetite, and your list of books you’d like to discuss in the future!
